STH provided full
architectural services for this country club clubhouse addition and
renovation. Like many country clubs around the nation, Eastpointe Golf
and Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens, has been facing an interesting
dilemma of a rapidly growing membership. This in turn has lead to
crowded conditions especially in the clubhouse and the dining
facilities, effecting satisfaction ratings, and threatening membership
retention. Recognizing this problem, Eastpointe decided to expand their
current clubhouse capacity by tripling the existing dining room facility
as well as enhancing other amenities such as a bar and card rooms. The
addition and renovation, including re-roofing, took just over six
months. The fact that Eastpointe decided to renovate their existing
facilities instead of replacing them resulted in a tremendous savings in
time and money. |
