STH provided full
architectural design services for this new Fitness & Tennis Center as
part of the expansion plans for the Broken Sound Club located in Boca
Raton, Florida. Careful attention was made to ensure that the new center
follows the existing Mediterranean style prevalent at the club. The new
Fitness Center Complex houses a large Cardio / Weights room that
overlooks the existing tennis courts. Aerobics studios, child play area,
locker rooms, and Massage / Spa areas were also planned into the design
to expand the fitness amenities offered at Broken Sound Club. Adjacent
to the new Fitness Center and attached via a covered breezeway, is the
new Tennis Center that houses a Pro Shop as well as an indoor Tennis
Grille complete with bar and kitchen facilities. A courtside dining
terrace extends the dining capacity to the outside. |
