STH provided full design
services for this clubhouse expansion for the Broken Sound Club in Boca
Raton, Florida. Careful attention was made to ensure that the expansion
and additions follow the existing architectural vocabulary. Additional
planning was made to ensure that minimal impact of amenities occurred
and that many of the facilities remained operational throughout much of
construction. New features of the design include an enlarged dining
capacity provided by expanding the Member’s Dining Room, expanded lounge
as well as a new kitchen. Expanded locker room facilities complete with
lounge areas were also incorporated into the design. Additional card and
meeting rooms round out the spaces. Many improvements were also
implemented for the exterior spaces around the clubhouse including an
enlarged pool deck area, new golf amenities, and a new Tennis & Fitness
Center. The Mediterranean character of the clubhouse was maintained and
enhanced by careful attention to detail in the newly expanded areas.
Most of the clubhouse’s spaces were upgraded in this expansion project. |
