STH Architects provided
full architectural design services for this new 25,000 s.f. Performing
Arts facility located on the campus of Saint Andrew’s School in Boca
Raton, Florida. A new 640 seat auditorium is the centerpiece of this
design. A large proscenium stage is provided and can also be used in a
thrust configuration when the orchestra pit is not in use. Full
backstage support areas complete the design and include a green room,
rehearsal studio, music library, band and choral room, practice rooms,
and various storage areas. Careful attention to architectural detail
ensured that this new facility fit nicely into an already established
campus vocabulary. |
