STH created this 261,000 square foot Prototype High School design for use throughout the state of Florida. With an ultimate capacity of 2,000 students, one of the primary objectives of this Prototypical High School design is the creation of a division between pedestrian and vehicular traffic. A "town center" concept provides the campus with a focal point and a place for student assemblies and social gatherings. In addition to classrooms and vocational labs, consideration of a large exceptional education population was also a program requirement. A state-of-the-art science center, auditorium, music room, food service area, gymnasium, and media center are also featured elements.
