STH created this 88,000 square foot Prototype Elementary School design for use throughout the state of Florida. It has been reused at least ten times in a single county. Each elementary school includes a media center, auditorium, cafeteria, kitchen, administrative offices and playing fields. The design also includes an 18,000 square foot exceptional student education center and pre-school at varying locations. All the schools were bid within budget and completed on or ahead of schedule. The school was designed for approximately 651 students but can be reduced or expanded to fit a variety of site locations as well as number of students. STH's initial challenge was to design a school that could be built economically without sacrificing design integrity and that was also flexible enough to be site adapted to a variety of proposed campus locations.
