TThe
Humanities & Technology Building is designed to support the mission of
PBCC by providing state-of-the-art technology in multi-dimensional
classrooms, studios, labs, computer labs and display areas. Ideal
functional spaces and programs for the ground floor include an
Auditorium Multimedia Lecture Hall with pre-function Lobby/Gallery, two
Socratic teaching classrooms, and Instructional Art studio/labs for
Graphic Design, Drawing and Architecture. The second floor includes
classrooms for Music Appreciation, Theater Appreciation and Art
Appreciation with tiered seating. Media Technology Instructional Support
services will also be housed on the second floor including a student
media room, instruction design center, Vtel/studio, Speech classroom,
Innovative Teaching classroom, Foreign Language lab, and a PC/Web Design
classroom. The third floor includes instructional spaces for General
Education classrooms, Innovative Teaching classroom, Foreign Language
lab, and a PC/Web classroom. Typical building support services are
designated throughout the buildings, including Faculty offices, Faculty
workroom, Conference rooms, and Student and Faculty restrooms. |
