STH provided full architectural services for this new self contained Southeast Headquarters for QVC located in Port St. Lucie, Florida. The new complex serves as a class “A” office building as well as a central communications center for the nationwide television network.
STH in conjunction with the Weitz Construction Company designed the tilt wall construction building after studying QVC’s existing buildings and incorporated many new innovative design features. A monumental corporate lobby serves as a main circulation spine and features a sculptural staircase.
Due to the client’s needs, STH and Weitz provided a fast track schedule that enabled the client to occupy the new building in a much shorter time frame than typical office construction. |
