Following four years of
continuous service to Motorola's Boynton Beach Facility, executives in Plantation selected
STH as architects for their 300,000 square foot expansion program. STH was selected based
on prior performance, excellence of design and technical acumen.
The Plantation,
Florida project included a 250,000 square foot expansion including manufacturing, office
and warehouse expansions. Also included were a Childcare & Learning Center, a Wellness
Center, Cafeteria renovations, Dining pavilions & patio expansion, 12-hour Entrance
renovation, and EPA Area modifications. |

This new 13,700
square foot facility will provide much needed supervisory care for the children of
Motorola's employees. The center will consist of an array of classrooms as well as a
playful central gathering space complete with clerestory windows providing natural
daylight from above. Also included is a 14,000 square foot outdoor enclosed play area
featuring the latest in playground equipment. |

This new 9,200
square foot facility will provide health and fitness facilities for Motorola employees.
The center will consist of a new health clinic as well as a fitness center. The fitness
center will will feature an Aerobics studio as well exercise space. Men's and women's
locker rooms will also be provided. Adjacent to this new center and just outside the
existing cafeteria, will be an outdoor dining area featuring covered pavilions. |
